  32.   If you have already connected via the dialer program at 38400, you must set
  33. the ppp.device to the same speed.

  35.   I use 57600, and use the ppp.device dialer, so I don't have to worry about
  36. mixing speeds.  But if more than one program uses the serial port at the same
  37. time, they must all use the same speed.
